Syd Parker the Jurassic Punk

Syd Parker, known to wrestling fans as The Jurassic Punk, is a Melbourne-based professional wrestler, booker, and trainer with over eighteen years of experience in the sport. Since beginning his training in New South Wales in 2008, Syd has competed in every state and territory in Australia, established himself as a fixture of the country’s independent wrestling scene, and shared the ring with international names including Rob Van Dam and Juventud Guerrera. A veteran of the Australian independent circuit, Syd currently performs and books for Lucha Fantástica in Melbourne, one of Australia’s premier pro wrestling promotions, where he is known for his hard-hitting, character-driven work as a heel. He has also trained in England with the Knight family and coached a new generation of Australian wrestlers. Equal parts athlete and storyteller, Syd Parker brings a philosophy rooted in authenticity, crowd psychology, and the belief that wrestling, at its best, is working class theatre.
