Korvus

Korvus is New Horizon Pro Wrestling’s resident villain. A Perth heel who leads The Sons of Samael, that includes Taylor Pearce, Axxton and Queensland’s Tessa Armstrong. and treats every match like a story he’s still writing.

He came to wrestling sideways. A serious junior football career, playing NPL for Armadale, gave way to burnout: training in the rain for a sport that had started to feel like a chore. He told people, half-joking, that he was going to become a professional wrestler instead. When his brother needled him for never following through, Korvus messaged a contact at New Horizon and turned up to his first session. He hasn’t left since.

By day he’s head of a learning area at a Perth school which is a job that, by his own admission, shares more with the character work of wrestling than people assume. His in-ring persona is best described as an amplified version of himself: convinced he’s right, uninterested in convincing anyone else of it. It’s carried him through matches against international names like Lance Anoa’i and Timothy Thatcher, and through a training-hall culture at NH built around giving newer wrestlers, regardless of size or shape, a real shot.

A torn distal bicep tendon, picked up off a desk rather than a wrestling ring, nearly ended things. He came back anyway.

Ask him what he wants out of it long-term and it isn’t a title. It’s a seat at the table long after the boots come off and the guy people still message for advice on how to build a character.
